It will be released on January 31st in Japan & March 9th in the U.S.

An event is in the works for Brawl's release. It'll be a week long event. It'll include (but is not limited to) snapshot contests, stage building competitions, brawling (duh), and possibly a tournament.
How's that for a kick-off?
